Ceramic Poppy - Holy Trinity has been given a wonderful piece of history, donated by Polly and Jim Bivens. We have been given a ceramic poppy from the thousands planted at the Tower of London to commemorate all those who died in the First World War. The poppy has been arranged on a wooden base backed by a piece of oak, which was expertly crafted from Polly’s idea by Tony Devitt. The poppy looks as though it is planted in grass as it was in London. Either side is a framed certificate and a photograph which shows the memorable scene at the Tower.   It can be viewed on the table at the back of the Church. Thank you to Polly and Jim for a gift which will be a part of our Church life for many years to come. ‘Lest We Forget’

Each year pressure grows on our finances and outgoings are more than income..

It is a house of prayer, a place for contemplation, a place of history, but above all else it is a place that offers a warm and friendly welcome to each and every one of you.

It is only with your help that the Church will stay available to you and your family for years to come.
